One of the meds I have is called Eloquis (Abaxipan), which is a blood thinner. This one pill per day costs $500/month. Guess what.. PEIA will not cover it. I went to the VA as a my Primary Care Provider. My Meds are $11/mo each.. $33/mo. I can handle that. Andy is a great provider at the VA. He has had tests ordered for everything to establish a baseline. When I go to the VA for a Doppler on my right side (to check for clots) I will get my new ID card.
