Since I was released from the hospital last year the VA was taking care of me. I have been on Ange's insurance also so I have always had a co-pay at the VA. I knew my bill was getting up there, probably around $300. I got online to check the balance and pay it. The only bill I could find was from Dec '22. I called the 800# on that bill and an elderly gentleman at the VA in Kansas answered. I explained the situation and told him I needed to pay my bill because I needed to order meds. He told me I didn't have a bill. I asked why? My VA disability claim had been approved in December and my account was audited and zeroed out. He then proceeded to tell me all of my treatment at the VA was now free because of my increased disability rating... Thank God!!!
