Previously at my Ortho appointment at the VA I was talking to the PA about my oxygen and I informed her I was denied once because of 1)the screwed up testing procedure where I sit in a chair for 15 min and then they take my pulseox. I can pass that. Walk me up and down a flight of stairs or the hallway, then it will drop; and 2) that is is a new prescription. I told her it's not a "new" prescription, it's a transfer. She sent some emails.
I received a call today from Commonwealth Home Healthcare. They have an order from the VA to setup my oxygen. I get to FIRE PEIA!!! It will save us about $200/mo.
